01Mesquite
A mesquite full of mistletoe, green again
Our big mesquite in the backyard was so full of mistletoe that half of it looked dead, and two other companies told us to just take it out. Mateo came by the same week, walked around it with me for twenty minutes and explained which limbs could be saved and why the mistletoe keeps coming back. He laid out a plan and a price on the spot, with no pressure at all. The crew came two days later, cut out every clump, thinned the canopy and took the dead wood down without touching the roof. They raked the gravel and blew off the driveway before they left. It's been two months and the tree is green again and putting out new growth. I didn't know you could bring a tree back like that!
02Palm, poolside
A palm beside the pool
Quick to call back and very professional. We had a tall palm by the pool that hadn't been trimmed in years and kept dropping fronds and seeds into the water. Another company had skinned it badly a few years back. Mateo and his crew showed up right on time and kept us posted the whole way through. They laid tarps over the pool deck and were careful with the clean up. Will definitely use them again! 👍

Out early, six days
7am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday
We had Mateo out to clean up two fan palms that had gotten away from us. He did a great job. Trimmed them evenly, asked if anything else in the yard needed a look, bundled up every frond, hauled it all off, and THEN swept the patio and the street out front. Fair price, friendly, and he clearly cares about the trees. We will be calling him every year! Thank you!!!
Longshade knows trees and they're dependable! They showed up exactly when they said they would and didn't leave a single leaf behind. Our ash tree looks so much better and we're glad to have them on a yearly visit to keep it healthy and in shape!
